Zakat al-Fitr, also known as Fitrana, isa compulsory charitable donation of food given at the end of Ramadan before the Eid prayer.

Zakat al-Fitr (Fitrana) A Blessing for All

As we approach the end of Ramadan, lets remember the essential act of giving Zakat al-Fitr. This special charity purifies our fasts and ensures that everyone in our community can celebrate Eid with joy.

It is an obligation on every single person that a Muslim is required to provide for.

So, for every single one you provide for in your household, you pay the minimum of $10 for this year. You can pay more than that if youre financially capable. More info here:https://fiqhcouncil.org/fidyah-and-zakat-al-fitr/

You can send the money to this Zelle account:[email protected]

And leave a note saying Zakat Al-Fitr OR, put your cash in the dedicated box for Zakat Al-fitr which is shown in the picture below

Last Qiyam Prayer and Khitma

As we enter the last ten nights of the holy month of Ramadan, we are reminded of the immense blessings and opportunities these nights hold. Among them is Laylat al-Qadr, a night greater than a thousand months, when Allahs mercy, forgiveness, and rewards are unmatched.

TODAY IS AN ODD NIGHT, LAST NIGHT OF RAMADAN, AND WE WILL BE HAVING THE KHITMA DUAA (Duaa is mustahabbat the end of Khitma) during the taraweeh prayer.

Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said, "Search for the Night of Qadr in the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan."

With the start of the last ten days of Ramadan, the Prophet (PBUH) used to tighten his waist belt (i.e. work hard) and used to pray all the night, and used to keep his family awake for the prayers.

We are pleased to announce that we're holding Tahajjud prayers at 4:00 AM at the Masjid. Join us in this blessed act of worship as we seek Allahs mercy and guidance.

Also, Fajr Iqamah will be 10 minutes after Adhan.

As we conclude the blessed month of Ramadan, we invite you to join us in celebrating**Eid al-Fitr on Sunday, March 30, 2025****at 8:00 AM at the Draper-Earles Auditorium,**Monroe County Fairgrounds (5700 W Airport Rd, Bloomington, IN 47403).
