Dear Respected Community Members,

On behalf of the IST Majlis-e-Shura, I am pleased to announce that Brother Shihab Ahmed will be joining the Islamic Society of Tulsa as Youth Director and Assistant Imam, starting Friday, January 17, 2025, InshaAllah.

Brother Shihab is a Hafiz of the Quran and brings an impressive academic background. He has completed a 4-year Alimiyyah program and holds a bachelors degree in Religious Studies. He also earned a masters degree in Islamic Theology and Philosophy from Zaytuna College. Additionally, he is the author of an upcoming book, The Modern Muslim Teen.

A highly intellectual and visionary individual, Brother Shihab is deeply committed to learning and spiritual growth. With a passion for education, mentoring, and hands-on engagement, he looks forward to building meaningful connections with the Tulsa Muslim youth and the wider community.

We encourage all parents, youth, and community leaders to support Brother Shihab in this important endeavor. Together, as a unified community, we can work toward creating a brighter future for our upcoming generations.
