Assalamualaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu Masjid,
The Prophet (SAWS) has said:
"There are two blessings which many people lose: (They are) health and free time for doing good." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 81, Hadith 1)
This point in the summer, everything has come to a lull and many of us find ourselves with lots of extra time on our hands, specially our younger friends. This hadith encourages us to make the most of this free time by engaging in beneficial activities, whether spiritual, personal development, or acts of service, before the opportunity is lost.
Whether you choose to volunteer for a good cause such as a food pantry or your local masjid; or you use the time to gain knowledge by attending beneficial halaqas or classes or continue speaking up against the injustice occurring in Palestine; you will be satisfied knowing you didn't waste your time.
May Allah put barakah in our time and in our health. May Allah allow us to use our time beneficially. May Allah make us of those who stand firm against injustice and May Allah bring peace and victory to people of Palestine! Ameen.
We also pray for the family of Imam of MCMC, Imam Abdullah Smith and his family, on the death of their son. May Allah grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannah and Sabr to his family. Ameen!

Al Falah Quran Academy Registration Is Now OPEN!
The Prophet () said, "The best among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it." (Sahih al-Bukhari 5027).
Al Falah Center invites you to join our Quran Academy under the guidance of Dr. Mostafa Ghazy, beginning September 9, 2024. Tuition will be $100 per month. Please register as soon as possible as spots are limited.
