This Saturday is the 10th of Muharram, also known as the day of Ashura. This day commemorates the freedom of Bani Israel (Children of Israel) by Prophet Musa (AS) from Fir'aun (Pharaoh). Out of gratitude, Prophet Musa (AS) would fast on this day, and similarly, the Prophet (PBUH) fasted on the day of Ashura. He commanded fasting on it_(Bukhari),_however, to differentiate from the followers of Musa (AS), he recommended fasting the day before or after with the day of Ashura. Join us on Saturday night for our day of Ashura iftar.

Thrive Summer Camp for Teens**continues until Thursday July 17th!**Alhamdulillah Sh. Yassir Fazaga has returned and will be teaching alongside Ustadh Malik Shaw starting this Monday. Our teens have also been benefiting from guest speakers each week on a variety of topics.

If you haven't signed up yet it's not too late and you can sign up through the weekly option ($50 per week) available for the remainder of the camp.
