Spread Blessings this Ramadan with ICNA! Join us in providing vital aid to those in need - every contribution makes a difference.

As-salmu Alaykum ,

The Islamic concept of charity is unique. It is neither a favor to those in need nor an act of showmanship; rather, it is the right of those who seek help and those who are less fortunate among our relatives and neighbors. AllahĀ

Ā reminds us in the Quran:

"And in their wealth is a recognized right for the needy who ask and for those who are deprived." (Surat Adh-Dhariyat 51:19)

The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) emphasized the importance of caring for the less fortunate:

"The one who strives to help the widow, and the poor is like the one who fights in the way of Allah, or like the one who prays all night and fasts continuously."(Sahih al-Bukhari & Sahih Muslim)

In another hadith, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The best of people are those who are most beneficial to mankind." (Sunan al-Mujam al-Awsat)

To fulfill our collective obligation of serving humanity, ICNAĀ has established Helping Hand for Relief and DevelopmentĀ and ICNA Relief to provide international and domestic aid. With thousands of dedicated ICNA volunteers and a strict commitment to transparency and professionalism, these two organizations have emerged as leading charities in the U.S., recognized for their impact and integrity.

With your generous support, ICNA ensures that every penny is spent according to Islamic principles of compassion and the highest standards of accountability for non-profits.

Brothers and Sisters, it is vital that we demonstrate the beauty of Islam through our actions. There is no better way to do so than by establishing avenues of goodnesssuch as food pantries, shelters, refugee facilitation centers, free clinics, and disaster relief programs. These initiatives not only serve those in need but also provide our youth with opportunities to take on leadership roles, instilling in them pride in their Muslim identity and a commitment to being productive citizens. By working together, we can make America a better place for future generations.

Your generosity knows no bounds, and we are profoundly grateful for any assistance you can provide. May this Ramadan be a source of immense blessings and joy for you and your loved ones.

Wassalam,
