We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support and generous donations. Thanks to your contributions, we have offered our community various enriching programs and events.

Your Donations at Work:

• College Admission Workshop for High School Students: With your support, we hosted an insightful workshop led by UC Berkeley students, providing high school students with invaluable guidance on college admissions. This collaboration with the Muslim Tech Collaborative at Berkeley was a tremendous success.
   
• Supporting Our Incarcerated Brothers and Sisters: Your donations allowed us to organize an inspirational talk by Ustadh Jesse Maroney. He shared how incarcerated Muslims struggle to maintain their faith behind bars and how our community can offer support through donations, visits, and moral support.
   
• Seerah Immersion Program: With your generous support, we hosted an enlightening Seerah Immersion with Shaykh Abdullah Waheed and Imam Mikaeel Smith. The program offered the community a deep dive into the life of Prophet Muhammad , uncovering timeless wisdom and inspiration. This event was proudly sponsored by Miftaah Institute and MCC East Bay.
   
• Partnership with Alameda County Community Food Bank: Thanks to your support, MCC has expanded its Pantry services to include produce, meat, bread, and eggs for the families we serve. The MCC Food Pantry currently serves more than 200 households, 80% of which have children. Most of these families have seen a significant loss of income due to the pandemic. Serving families living in the East Bay, MCC has also become an Alameda County Food Bank distribution site, providing fresh produce and staple food to any family that drives through our parking lot on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. 
   
• Back-to-School Ice Cream Social: We kicked off the school year with the coolest event of the summer! Thanks to your generous donations, youth aged 5-17 enjoyed a fun-filled evening of delicious ice cream and great company.
