Oh Allah we ask You to show us the truth as truth and make us firm in upholding it. We ask You to show us falsehood as falsehood and keep us far away from it. Oh Allah dont make us of those who are concerned with that does not benefit. Make us of those who are certain of their return to You and who live every moment of our lives in a way most pleasing to You. Dont let us get distracted from what is important, dont let shaytan sow seeds of division and disunity among the ummah even in the slightest. Keep us steadfast on the path of justice and goodness, keep our hearts firm on Your Deen.

Community Updates

LGIC Parking

Please make sure to park your cars in the LGIC parking lot and avoid parking on the streets. Alhamdulilah we have ample parking at LGIC and we encourage the community to please make sure to utilize the parking spaces on site before any street parking.

Friendly Neighborhood Reminder

Please be courteous as you drive through the neighborhood. Avoid speeding, and keep noise levels down while driving or walking through the neighborhood.

We find ourselves in a time where everything feels unstable and uncertain, and our hearts seem to be breaking more with each passing day. The Companions Series with Imam Albaraa

Tonight is the second session of Imam Albaraa's class on The Companions! Explore how Prophet Muhammad shaped the mental, psychological, and social well-being of the Companions, creating a community that left a lasting legacy. Islamic Geometry Workshop

Each month, we host a special meet-up for new Muslims at LGIC, offering a welcoming space for them to connect, seek guidance, and share their experiences on their new journey in Islam. To our beloved sister, we invite you to join us for a monthly informal gathering of companionship. Kids Quran Class at Saratoga Musalla

Kids Quran classes at Saratoga Musalla are back, starting Tuesday October 29th with Sr. Soumiya Basima. These sessions are for kids ages 3.5 - 5. Sign up using this link before spots fill up! Give your little ones a headstart to Arabic and Quran!

Siraat Pathway Series

Siraat is pleased to announce that Dr. Sadiya Dhanani will be leading the upcoming Pathways series, "Building Identity and a Sense of Self in a Self-Indulgent World" on Tuesdays, October 22nd & 29th! Join them next week for part 2. These halaqas are open primality for ages 22-35.

Arabic Language for Beginners

There's still time to sign up for the new beginner Arabic class with Sr. Hadeer Talal at LGIC! This interactive course is designed to guide you through the Arabic alphabet and pronunciation, essential vocabulary, reading, writing, and fascinating cultural insights. Kids' sessions are helpd on Thursdays and adult sessions on Fridays. Spots are limited, so sign up at bit.ly/wvma-learnarabic before they fill up.

Pajama Movie Night

Cookbook Club Meet

Did you know we have a Cookbook Club! We explore the rich heritage of Muslim cuisine through monthly cookbook picks and potlucks. Current book is Summers Under the Tamarind Tree by Pakistani food writer Sumayya Usmani. Potluck will be Novemeber 3rd at LGIC.

We are still looking for more members to join our potential WVMA Toastmasters Club! Imam AlBaraa's Companions Series started last week at LGIC! We gather every Thursday at 7 PM to learn how the Prophet Muhammad nurtured the minds, hearts, and souls of the Companions, building a community that still inspires us today.

May Allah grant us knowledge that brings us closer to Him, wisdom to implement it, and the ability to nurture the same compassion and strength the Companions had. Ameen.
