Jumma Mubaraka!
Oh Allah grant us clarity and calm through all the difficulty and distress. Ground us firmly on Your path and don't let us fail or falter. Grant us the blessing of reaching Ramadan and allow us to reach it in the best of state. We turn to You with hearts that are broken and weighed down with the world. Do not let the life of this world delude us or distract us from our ultimate goal. Do not let us leave this world except that we leave it in firm faith. Let us live in this world and leave this world in complete submission to You.

Counting down to Ramadan!
With Ramadan just 24 days away, it's time to renew our intentions and prepare our hearts for this blessed month of mercy, reflection, and spiritual growth.
According to the Fiqh Council of North America (FCNA), Ramadan will begin on the evening of Friday, February 28th, with Taraweeh prayers marking the start of this blessed month. The first day of fasting will be on Saturday, March 1st, and Eid al-Fitr is expected to be on Sunday, March 30th, inshAllah.
May Allah bless us with the opportunity to witness Ramadan, allow us to enter it with sincerity, and grant us the strength to make the most of its blessings.

Allahumma Ballighna Ramadan (O Allah, allow us to reach Ramadan)!
Traffic & Safety Guidelines for Ramadan
As many of you know, we're in the process of applying for a use permit for LGIC that will allow us to pray Fajr, Isha, and Taraweeh at the masjid. It is crucial that we all know and follow the Traffic and Safety Guidelines, especially during Ramadan. Failure to adhere to these guidelines will jeopardize our ability to continue to pray at and benefit from the Los Gatos Islamic Center. Please take a moment to look over the guidelines and share them with your family and friends as well.

We were honored to host Shaykh Mikaeel Smith at LGIC!
He shared profound insights on the emotional intelligence of Prophet Muhammad ()how he navigated emotions with wisdom, compassion, and patience. A reminder that true intelligence is not just of the mind but also of the heart.
May Allah grant us the ability to embody the Prophets () emotional wisdom, to be patient in hardship, gentle in speech, and sincere in our interactions. Ameen.
