Community Updates

Acknowledging our Dedicated Board Members

As the current board term comes to an end, we'd like to give a sincere thank you to our board members who have worked tirelessly throughout their term to help our community thrive.

We will greatly miss working with our exiting board members but know they will continue to be an integral part of the community and its success in this life and the next.  

JazakummAllahu Khairan to:

  • Br. Abde Shadab Faruqui for his dedication to the board and his willingness to help in any capacity, specifically his role as the youth secretary during his tenure.
  • Br. Iftikhar Ahmed for his tireless efforts on the BOT and his diligence and commitment to all the projects he undertook. He was integral in helping WVMA assess real estate purchasing opportunities.
  • Br. Omar Chughtai for his sincere efforts in helping build structure and sustainability in board practices and serving as the Vice President/Secretary.
  • Sr. Sadia Azeem for her dedication to programs, events, and best practices at WVMA, as she made efforts to ensure that the community carried a comprehensive and collective voice.

May Allah accept from each and every one of you and make your service a means of great success in this life and the next.  

May Allah reward our continuing board members and oncoming board members and grant us the best of leadership that will be a means of our entrance into his Highest Paradise.

Weekend School Job Opening

Arabic Playgroup Openings 
We are excited to announce that we have limited open spots for our Arabic playgroup at WVMA for children ages 3-6. The playgroup meets every Tuesday and Thursday. We will utilize different methods to teach children how to read and write Arabic while taking care of other developmental needs. Click here for more details and registration.

Monthly Community Qiyam

Bring your family this Sunday to reap the benefits of the golden hour of Tahajjud and make dua for our Ummah. This Qiyam takes place on the first Sunday of the month at Saratoga Musalla. We hope you can join us!

Family Biking

Come out and bike with the WVMA Biking Club every Sunday! This week we will meet at 8:45 am to bike along the Guadalupe River Trail. All levels are welcome. Join the biking WhatsApp group for weekly biking updates.
