Ya Allah, protect us from arrogance and pride, and grant us humility and gratitude in all circumstances. Help us to be of service to others, to give freely for Your sake, and to seek only Your pleasure. Keep us close to You, and allow us to be a means of relief and comfort for those in need. Ameen.

 Job Vacancy: Ramadan Setup Assistant

We're looking for a reliable individual to join our team this Ramadan to assist with setting up for Taraweeh prayers and community Iftars. This is a paid position with hourly compensation.

Duties Include:

  • Setting up the prayer space for Taraweeh
  • Assisting with Iftar preparations and arrangements
  • Helping with cleanup after events

If you're available to help and be part of our Ramadan team, please reach out! Your support will contribute to creating a beautiful and welcoming environment for our community during this blessed month.

Young Ummah Nights

This is where our young ummah comes together! MGN Game Changers

Starting this Sunday at LGIC! Ready to create real change? CAIR's Muslim Gamechangers Network (MGN) is coming to LGIC for their winter session! This impactful social justice training program is designed to empower high school students with the tools to lead and make a difference in their communities. Quranic Arabic Course

We are pleased to announce a 12-week online interactive Quranic Arabic course for adults. Women's Fitness

Our fitness classes are starting next week! Join us at LGIC for our women's fitness classes with personal trainer Shazia Jafri. Our high-energy HIIT sessions will target arms, legs, and core, with guided support every step of the way. Circles of Light

Join us every Tuesday evening, starting January 21st, for _Circles of Light for Sisters_a heartfelt program designed to unite hearts through the light of the Qur'an. Each gathering begins with intention-setting and features a beautiful collective recitation of the Qur'an. Quran Class for kids

Ramadan Stories with Imam Fuad

Palestinian Plate Art Workshop

Join us on February 8th for the Soul of My Soul Palestinian Plate Art workshop, open to ages 16 and up. Take part in the centuries-old tradition of ceramic plate art by creating hand-painted plates inspired by the vibrant patterns of Al Khalil, while learning about the history and cultural significance of Palestinian ceramics. We had the honor of launching the Elders of the Ummah event, and the room was filled with our beloved elders, whose light and experience enrich our community. It was a beautiful gathering, complete with a delightful spread and ice-breaking activities to connect and celebrate.

May Allah bless and protect our elders with good health, peace, and steadfast faith. Grant them ease and reward them abundantly for their sacrifices. Allow us to spend time with them, learn from their wisdom, and benefit from their experiences. Ameen.
