Alhamdulillah, the WVMA Election Committee has received and vetted nominations for the upcoming election. The following candidate slate has been confirmed:

Important Message for Nominees
Must submit a personal bio and a picture (optional) by Wednesday, June 25, 2025.
This information will be emailed to the members, and will be posted on WVMA website and projected during the Candidate Forum.
This year, we will host a Hybrid Candidates Forum, inshaAllah, where as a Nominee you will get a chance to share with the community members your background and motivation in running for a WVMA Board position, and provide your vision for the community, after your message you will have a chance to answer questions from the floor or via Zoom. A basic set of questions/guidelines will be sent to the candidates; to help frame their comments.
Please keep in mind the following upcoming dates/events:
Candidates Forum: (Hybrid: Online and In-Person at LGIC)

Sunday, June 29, 2025, from 2:30 PM till 5:00 PM

Zoom meeting info will be shared and posted on WVMA website

Election Dates: July 10th and 11th (to be conducted via online ballot):

Online Voting will begin Thursday, July 10 at 6:00AM PST and voting will end Friday, July 11 at 5:00PM PST.

All eligible voters will be sent an e-mail with an electronic ballot.
