Ramadan Mubarak to you all!!!
With less than one week to Ramadan, we ask Allah to allow us all to see this Ramadan and benefit from it. May Allah accept all our effort and deeds during this Holy Month.
Below, please find more information about the Ramadan Program at WIC this year. We hope that with your du'as and help we will all have a wonderful Ramadan together. We hope you will be able to volunteer your time the best you can to enrich the program at WIC. Please visit our website at:

Tafsir and Taraweeh Schedule-stay tuned
We are excited and blessed to welcome back Mufti Abdullah Sheikh to be with us for the entire month of Ramadan.
This Ramdan will be special with a full schedule of programs including tafsir of Quran, daily haateras in taraweeh and many other programs for children, and the youth.
Please stay tuned for the details of the Ramadan religious programs. Details are currently being worked out.
Ramadan Calendar
The daily prayer Ramadan timings are listed to the right. We also have attached as a PDF the daily prayer time for Ramadan. Please download it and save a copy for yourself.
Taraweh will start at 8:30PM. Every night after 8 Rakah, there will be a short Khatirah. WIC will be praying 20 Rakahs and thenwitr inshAllah.
Parking
We ask Allah to make this Ramadan a safe and enjoyable one for our community. Please come early to secure a good parking spot in any of the masjid legal parking spots. Parking in fire lanes and other illegal spots will be towed at owner's expense.
Late comers can park at the Salem Covenant Church located at:

WIC Annual Fundraiser
Please joinus for this year's Annual Ramadan Fundraiser and Iftar Dinner on Saturday March 16, 2024, at Maghrib (6:55PM). Your entire family is invited to break the fast with us and join us in salat led by Mufti Abdullah Sheikh and explore the benefits and rewards of Ramadan with Sheikh Yousef Abdallah, CEO of Al-Safa Consulting.
This year our goal is $430K (65% of our annual budget). Please pledge or donate in advance using the button below.
Iftar sponsorship
Interested in sponsoring iftar this Ramadan?
Please select the number of units you would like to sponsor on your selected date.
Each unit is $500. On weeknights (Sun-Thurs) we need 5 units for a total of $2500 and weekend nights, we need 6 units for a total of $3000 to sponsor the iftaar and dinner. Please sponsor generously.
Multiple families may sign up together for each night. Please indicate if you want to sponsor the entire day or a partial day.
Waste Managment in Ramadan
This year we plan to cut down waste at WIC as much as possible. Please cooperate with the volunteers so we can make this a success:

Food serving portions will be reduced to avoid waste.

Only Fountain water and gallon water will be used. No individual disposable water bottles allowed. You are encouraged to bring your own re-usable water bottles.

All plates, spoons, hot cups and napkins will be compostable and will go in specific bins. Please do not throw trash into these bins.

There will be recycle bins for all other uncompostable but recyclable waste.
Kids Program Fridays and Saturdays Only
All children ages 10 and older are required to pray with the parents.
Babysitting will be provided for children ages 2-4 on a first come first serve basis.
Special enrichment program will be provided for children ages 5-9 on a first come first serve basis.
Spots are limited so if you plan to bring you children for babysitting or the enrichment programs come early.
A donation to our volunteers will be appreciated from parents.
Ramadan Story time
We will be holding a Ramadan Story Time program for ages between 5 to 15 year olds on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week at 5PM on Zoom. To sign up please reach out to the organizers on [email protected]
