The Womens Initiative warmly invites you to an inspiring and informative virtual webinar with Sheikha Nethal Abdul-Mu'min, a dedicated advocate for women's health and empowerment. Sheikha Nethal is a faculty member in Tajwid and Hifz at Zaytuna College and brings a wealth of knowledge from her academic and personal journey.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, and raised in Berkeley, CA, Sheikha Nethal graduated from Abu Nour University in 2001 with a degree in Arabic and Islamic Studies. She holds multiple ijazahs in tajwid, including both Hafs and Warsh narrations of the Qur'an. Her commitment to women's well-being extends beyond Islamic scholarshipshe is also pursuing midwifery, doula training, and childbirth education, bridging holistic care with faith.
This webinar will explore the Fiqh of Menstruation, offering insights and clarity on this essential topic while addressing questions that affect daily life and worship.Gain a comprehensive understanding of menstrual rulings in fiqh, explore the connection between womens health and Islamic teachings, and ask Sheikha Nethal your questions in an open, supportive space.
