Asalaamu Alaikum Masjidplusnews,
As the night unfolds for us, the pilgrims at Mina are preparing their hearts for the Day of Arafa, the most sacred day of the year.
Right here at home, this is our moment too; to turn inward, seek forgiveness, give generously, and be part of the mercy that is unfolding across the world.
There is no day when Allah frees more people from the Fire than the Day of Arafa.

Even if the last eight days didnt go as planned, dont let this one day slip by. The gates of mercy are wide open.
So tonight and tomorrow, as you bring your heart's prayers onto your tongue, think big and dont limit yourself. Ask for the impossible. Ask for strengthened faith, healing, clarity, purpose, and forgiveness. Ask for your family, your future, and a reunion with those you love in Jannah.
And as your hands rise in worship, we ask that you include your masjid, your spiritual home, in your du'a. Ask Allah (SWT) to continue to grow, guide, and sustain this house of His.
MIC was once a dream and a prayer on someones list. Tonight, let its continued success be on yours.
Below is one of the most comprehensive du'as in the Quran, encompassing dunya, akhirah, and protection from Hellfire to carry us into this sacred night and day tomorrow. The Prophet would frequently recite this, especially during Tawaaf and on the days of Hajj and Dhul Hijjah.
Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire. (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:201)
