Memorial Day Family Hike

It will focus on foundational beliefs, worship, spiritual refinement, lifestyle, and more. Pizza in the Park Picnic
Join Siraat for their second annual summer Pizza in the Park Picnic on Sunday, June 2nd at John Mise Park in San Jose. Enjoy halal pizza, drinks, and bring snacks to share. Bring outdoor games, an outdoor blanket, a reusable water bottle, and dress for the weather. RSVP here. The Siraat community and this event are for Muslims ages 22-35 years old.
Arafah Potluck Iftar
We're so excited to invite you to our annual potluck iftar on the day of Arafah before Eid at LGIC. Join us at 8pm for a special dua and Quran recitation before we break fast together! Look out for the sign up sheet.
Healthy Relationships in Islam for Youth
Join the WVMA youth on June 1st for a talk with imam Ahmad Deeb. He'll be sharing lessons from the life of Ibrahim (as) when it comes to building and maintaining our relationships. This event is intended for anyone age 17+. Please RSVP by May 31st. We hope to see you there!
Summer Programs
Reflections from the Seerah
Join us as we embark on an inspiring journey through the Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad (s). Every Wednesday after Maghrib, Imam Tahir will guide us in this enlightening series. Starting June 5th at LGIC, sessions will alternate between LGIC and Saratoga Musalla. Don't miss this opportunity to deepen your understanding and connection to our beloved Prophet (s) as a family this summer.
Quranic Arabic Course
We are excited to announce a 12 week interactive Quranic Arabic course for adults at LGIC. Enhance your Salah recitations, expand your vocabulary, and deepen your connection. Registrstion opening soon!
Kids Quran Class
We are excited to announce that we will be offering Quran classes for our young Muslims, ages 3.5 to 5. In these classes, they will learn Arabic letters and memorize short surahs, building a strong foundation from an early age. Classes will be held on Wednesdays starting June 12th. Spots are limited, so sign up quickly!
Chess on Fridays
Join us for a friendly game of Chess on Fridays at LGIC throughout the summer in July! Bring your A-game, chess board, and snacks to share! Dua for the father of Imam Hasan Lohos
A request for special dua our Imam from Ramadan, Imam Hasan Lohos, who is on his way to Africa because his dad is sick. Please make dua for his complete shifa and afiya!
The Passing of Br. Naveed Ahmad
It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of Br. Naveed Ahmad the husband of Sr. Shama Naveed. Br. Naveed was a father of four wonderful boys. Please keep him and his family in your du'a during this difficult time. We pray that Allah grants him complete maghfirah and blesses the family with patience and strength. The Janaza prayer will be tomorrow, May 24th at MCA after the 1:30pm Jumma prayer. If you wish to further support, consider donating to this link.

Last Saturday, the Sisters treated themselves to some self-care with Sr. Pakeeza Ali. She presented practical tips on caring for the mind, body, and spirit, followed by the sisters diving into a hands-on session of building their own vision boards! Keep an eye out for our next self-care session on June 30th, where we'll explore how to hack your happy brain chemicals!
