Community Happenings

Support 2399 Eagle Project at LGIC

My name is Noor Aldimassi, and I am a scout from Troop 2399 working towards my Eagle Project at LGIC. My project aims to enhance the front yard of the Masjid, including building a "Free Little Library" and a brick pony/knee wall with a lit logo of the West Valley Muslim Association (WVMA). Your support will not only benefit LGIC and my project but also serve as a communal invitation (Da'wah). The library will help connect neighbors and strengthen our community relationships, transforming the dirt lawn into a welcoming space. Thank you for your support! Photo of the Week

Last Saturday, our dedicated community members came together to plant trees at LGIC. In doing so, they embraced the timeless wisdom of Allahs Messenger (), who said:

There is none amongst the Muslims who plants a tree or sows seeds, and then a bird, or a person or an animal eats from it, but it is regarded as a charitable gift for him.
[Al Bukhari 2320]

May these trees stand as enduring symbols of our shared commitment to the environment and our faith.
