Welcoming Sheikh Mohamed Faqih to ICOI as Our Senior Religious Advisor
We are delighted to announce that Sheikh Mohamed Faqih will be joining the ICOI family as our Senior Religious Advisor starting mid-January 2025!
Sheikh Faqih brings with him a wealth of experience, deep Islamic knowledge, and a heartfelt commitment to community enrichment and spiritual growth. Sheikh Faqih has recently taken on a role with a Southern California startup that will have him in the area consistently. Recognizing this as an opportunity to benefit from his presence and expertise, we collaborated with him to establish a customized role designed to accommodate his professional responsibilities while enabling him to contribute meaningfully to our community.
As our Senior Religious Advisor, Sheikh Faqih will lead monthly sessions, deliver Khateras, organize educational and social activities, and provide strategic and religious guidance for ICOI. He will also be a regular presence at Fajr and Ishaa prayers, engaging with attendees, particularly our youth.
We believe this thoughtful, customized approach benefits both Sheikh Faqih and ICOI. This win-win arrangement ensures that our community benefits from his expertise and presence while we continue our search for a full-time Religious Director. We see this as yet another beautiful Divine Opening and Blessing.
