Free Rajab Tracker
M.E.C.C.A. follows the position of the four schools of Sunni Islam that adhere to the Blessed Sunnah that requires the physical sighting of the crescent moon to determine the beginning of every month. There were no confirmed sightings of the new crescent moon in North America on December 31st, so Rajab will begin on Wednesday evening, with its first day on Thursday, January2nd. Make Istighfar Your Companion
Let each day of Rajab be illuminated by the soothing words of istighfar (seeking forgiveness), uttered with a heartfull of sincerity. Our beloved Prophet , though free of sin, sought forgiveness 100 times a day (Sahih Muslim 2702).
Follow his noble example and let istighfar weave its way into your daily rhythmduring quiet moments, in your prostrations, and even as you walk through lifes routines. It takes but a few minutes to do 100 short istighfars such as the ones listed in our PDF below. Here is a Youtube video to assist you in doing 100 Astaghfirullaha wa atoobu ilayh.
