Welcome Event for ICEB Imam, Shaykh Abdullah, on November 1
Dear ICEB Community,
To warmly welcome Shaykh Abdullah Mohyuddin as ICEBs first permanent Imam, as announced in our earlier email, we have organized a community event on Friday, November 1, 2024, after Maghrib. We invite everyone to join us for this special evening, which will begin at 6:15 pm, to meet and hear Shaykh Abdullah discuss community building from an Islamic perspective. The event will be followed by a community dinner at 7 pm, and we also encourage everyone to bring a dish to share.
Below is the tentative agenda for the evening:
- 6:15 pm Welcome by ICEB Administration
- 6:20 pm Quran Recitation by Shaykh Abdullah
- 6:25 pm Speech by Shaykh Abdullah: The Importance of Building Community in Islam
- 7:45 pm Closing remarks by Brother Ayyan, representing ICEB Youth
- 7:00 pm Dinner (Main dish and dessert provided; we encourage community members to bring a dish to share)
- 8:30 pm Isha

Parking Instructions on Henley Drive:
- Park only on one side of the street adjacent to the Senior Center.
- Park at least 50 feet away from the Stop sign.
- Do not block the entrance to any parking lot or buildings.
- Do not park in Society Hill or the Senior Center.
- Follow instructions from volunteers.
