Birth Announcement
By the grace of Allah (SWT), Nazmul & Zeenat Jaffer are pleased to announce the birth of their granddaughter, Mira Jaffer, daughter of ShahidAli and Julia Jaffer.
Salaam Alaikum
Al-Ayn is a (501c3) non profit organization currently serving orphaned children in Iraq, Afghanistan and Ghana. The organization was initiated in 2006 by Syed Sistani and he continues to maintain oversight of the organization.
In addition to basic aid, food, clothing and housing, they provide medical and academic support, vocational training, opportunities to access higher education and support to launch their career.
The goal of Al-Ayn is to empower orphaned children to not only survive, but thrive, and improve their lives and the lives of their family.
They are blessed to have the full support and supervision of Syed Sistani, and his direct authorization to collect and spend 100% of khums on orphaned children and their various needs.
During Muharram, Al Ayn is raising funds to support their Orphaned Childrens Fund
Your contribution to the Orphaned Children Fund is crucial in supporting orphaned children in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Ghana.
Make a one-time donation:
$72 - contribute towards the essential needs of an orphaned child for a month
$110 - could provide vital healthcare to an orphaned child or widowed mother
$313 - could provide safe housing or home repairs for a family

Local services offered for the benefit of our community members
Hadi Medical Clinic is a no-cost healthcare facility open to everyone in need of its service, regardless of race, faith, or socioeconomic status. The clinic provides free primary care consultations by board certified doctors. In addition, lab tests are arranged as necessary at a nominal fee. All work done by doctors and staff is voluntary.
The clinic is open every Saturday from 10:30am-1:00pm and is located at Imam Hussain Islamic Center
During these challenging times Masoomeen Foundation is here to serve the Shia community of Minnesota with resources to weather uncertain times.

Second Harvest Senior Nutrition Program Moves to Brooklyn Park
Monday through Friday, seniors over 60 who meet certain income guidelines can go to the Brooklyn Park-based food bank once a month to pick up a box filled with nutritious food.
The box contains things like pasta, juice, canned fruits and veggies, and pet food for all of the animal lovers out there.
