Verily, the Muslim men and women, the believing men and women, the men and the women who are obedient (to Allah), the men and women who are truthful, the men and women who are patient, the men and the women who are humble, the men and women who give charity, the men and women who observe fasting, the men and women who guard their chastity and the men and women who remember Allah much with their hearts and tongues, Allah has prepared for them forgiveness and a great reward. Surah Al-Ahzab, Ayah 35.
Hadith of the week

Usamah ibn Zayd said: I said, O Messenger of Allah, I do not see you fasting in any month more than in Shaban. He said, That is a month concerning which many people are heedless, between Rajab and Ramadan. It is the month is which peoples deeds are taken up to the Lord of the Worlds, and I would like my deeds to be taken up whilst I am fasting. Saheeh al-Nasaai, 2221.
