Ayah of the Week

Allah says: And the life of this world is nothing but diversion and play. Surely, the Abode of the Hereafter is indeed the [true] Life, if they only knew. [Surah Ankaboot 64]
Hadith of the week

Al-Mustawred bin Shaddad, may Allah be pleased with him, reported: The Messenger of Allah () said, "This world (i.e., its pleasures and duration) in comparison with the Hereafter is (similar to the amount of water) one gets when he puts his finger in the sea. Let him then see what it returns with". [Muslim 2858].
Dua of the Week

Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire. [Ahmad in al-Musnad]
