February 16, 2024, after Friday prayer at the Masjid insha'Allah, we will be hosting a Fundraising Bake Sale to support our beloved ISK School. The funds collected will be utilized for school supplies, materials, operational costs, subsidizing students in need, and organizing school events.

The Islamic Society of Kingston Annual General Meeting for 2024 will be held before Ramadan this year on Sunday 3 March 2024 at the Islamic Centre of Kingston starting at 11:00 am InshaAllah.

Below you will find the Agenda. The required reports will be distributed no later than two weeks in advance of the AGM.

QUMSA Ramadan Iftars

As Salam Alaikum! The Queens University Muslim Student Association (QUMSA) is collecting donations for our 2024 QUMSA Ramadan Iftar program. QUMSAs ambition is to serve daily free iftars to the Muslim student community at Queens. This undertaking is funded entirely by community donations and sponsorships. This year, we are expecting to serve 150+ fasting students.

To make this possible, we have started a LaunchGood campaign, and would greatly appreciate any contributions you are willing to make, in order to reach our $10,000 milestone. May Allah SWT reward you all immensely for your generosity. Specific sponsorship packages are listed in detail on our campaign page, however, any contribution is greatly.

POSTPONED - Townhall meeting

Regrettably, the LDSB team has requested to postpone the event due to the unavailability of some of their team members. We understand the importance of everyone being present for a fruitful discussion, and we respect their decision.

Insha'Allah, we will reschedule the town hall meeting for February, and we will keep you informed about the new date and time.

Sisters Coffee Morning

Because a lot of sisters fast on Thursdays, we changed it to be on Wednesdays.

DO NOT PARK ON THE ROAD

We had the visit of a parking bylaw enforcement officer last Friday and they will start issuing tickets to those parked on the road during Friday prayers.
