• Eid al-Adha Prayer
  Tentatively scheduled for Friday, June 6th, 2025 at Cataraqui Arena. Prayer time will be confirmed closer to the date.

• Eid Family Picnic
  Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 8th, 2025! Time and location to be confirmed.

Imam's Weekly Classes

Imam AbuBakar Mullas evening classes have started back up again this week. These sessions are a meaningful way to connect with the Quran and deepen our understanding of the Prophets life. All classes take place at the masjid.

Weekly Schedule:
 Tuesdays, Fridays & Saturdays - Tafseer of the Quran (after Isha salah)
 Wednesdays - Seerah (Life of the Prophet ) (at 7:30PM)
 Thursdays - New Horizons Fiqh Class (at 7:30PM)

ISK Groundbreaking Ceremony

We're excited to announce the ISK Groundbreaking Ceremony to mark the beginning of the Masjid Extension Project. Join us in celebrating this special milestone in our community's history. 

Hajj Workshop

 

May 10th, 2025 | 6:15 PM | ISK Masjid, 1477 Sydenham Road
 

This Saturday, Shaykh Abubakar Mulla will be leading a Hajj Workshop after Asr.
Whether you're planning to go for Hajj or simply want to deepen your understanding of this important pillar of Islam, this session is open to everyone.

Women's Self Defens Training

 

May 16th, 2025 | 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM | ISK Masjid, 1477 Sydenham Road

Spring Cleaning at the Masjid Volunteers Needed!

Join us on Sunday, May 11th at 10:00 AM at the Islamic Centre of Kingston for a community-led Spring Cleaning Day! Were looking for volunteers to help freshen up and clean different areas of the masjid, including the prayer halls, washrooms, kitchen, and storage. Its a great opportunity to give back, earn ajr, and connect with others in the community.

QUMSA Jummah Location Change 

Assalaammu alaykum, this Friday the Jummah will be held in the JDUC Wallace Hall at 1:30 pm inshaAllah. The address is 99 University Avenue. Please see the following graphic for how to enter and find the Jummah hall inshaAllah. 
 

ISK School Fundraising Food Sale 

 

Join us after Jummah on Friday, May 16th, for a special fundraiser in support of our Evening & Weekend School programs. Help us continue providing quality Islamic educations for our children - every contribution counts! 

 

iERA Event Update 

Jazakum Allahu Khayran to everyone who attended the Dawah Training hosted by iERA x ISK this past weekend! 

iERA is supporting our community in forming a local Dawah team to continue this important work. Theyll offer ongoing training and support for those interested in sharing Islam in our community. Whether or not you attended the event, youre welcome to sign up and get involved: https://app.iera.ca/

Alhamdulilah, It was a packed hall, and were so grateful to see the community come together for such a beneficial purpose.
