Build and Belong: Ramadan Campaign
The Islamic Society of Kingston (ISK) Fundraising Committee is excited to launch our Build and Belong Ramadan Campaign, a special initiative dedicated to showcasing the heart and soul of our community.
We are at the beginning of our Ramadan campaign and donors who donate now, will set a good example for others, and insha'a Allah reap the rewards for all those who follow. So, we strongly encourage you to be among the first to donate in this blessed month.Throughout this blessed month, we will be highlighting the stories of those who have dedicated their time, effort, and hearts to ISK. We begin by sharing the inspiring story of Sister Erum, the principal of the ISK schools, who has been an active and cherished member of our community for over a decade. In a heartfelt video, Sister Erum reflects on her journey with ISK and shares what this place means to her.
As we continue this campaign, we will be featuring more personal stories from our community members, shedding light on the incredible impact ISK has had on their lives. These stories not only remind us of the importance of ISK in our daily lives but also highlight the need for expansion to better serve the growing community.
We are closer than ever to breaking ground on the ISK Extension Project, and with the blessings of Ramadan upon us, we are turning to you, our community, to support this transformative endeavor. Your donation will help us create a more inclusive and welcoming space for everyone. Together, we can make this vision a reality.
Please visit our website to make your donation and join us in supporting the ISK Extension Project during this blessed month of Ramadan. Your generosity will help us continue to build a strong, connected community, today and for the future. Please visit our website to make a donation.
Jazakum Allah Khair for your ongoing support. May Allah bless you and your family

We are the Queen's Muslim Student Association (QUMSA) looking to fundraise for iftars on campus. Unlike other universities, Queen's University is home to many non-local Muslim students. Every year, QUMSA provides free daily iftars during Ramadan for students on campus. This year - we need your help.
We served over 200 students daily last Ramadan. This year we're told to estimate a significant increase in these numbers. We ask those looking to donate a meal to a fasting person to consider QUMSA's program.
The burden of eating alone in Ramadan, or not knowing what to eat because of a student budget, can be lifted with your donation.
For more information, please visit our Instagram (@QUMSA) page!
To ensure transparency of our efforts, kindly review QUMSA's projected costs for the 2025 Ramadan iftar program below:
