Weekly Programs at MYCP
MYCP Weekend Learning Program (Ages 6-12)
Sundays 9:00 am - 1:30 pm
MYCP Weekend Learning Program (WLP) provides a fun and educational Islamic environment for Muslim students, ages 6-12, to learn about our religion, develop confidence in their faith identity, and build community with other young Muslims. The Weekend Learning Program focuses on building fluency in reading the Qur'an, memorization of short Surahs, Seerah of the Prophet Mohammad ﷺ and an interactive Islamic studies curriculum with team-building activities and forums for discussion. WLP is led by qualified and experienced instructors. We aim to make WLP something to which children can look forward each week, and as such, we have several activities, special events, and field trips planned as part of the program.
Program begins: Sunday, September 14
The cost of the program is $550/child for the full academic year or $275/semester. This includes the cost of all program materials, snacks, two field trips, and a T-shirt. There are no extra charges.

Join us every Friday, beginning September 19, in our journey to read books that will develop your reading comprehension, increase your vocabulary, improve your writing skills, and help you develop strong study habits.
Ages 10-14 ONLY.
Fees: $30 for material
Registration limit is 15-17 students.
Attendance Policy:Entrance closes at 6:40pm

Seekers Circle provides teens with a space to explore their faith, build their confidence, and make friends with other Muslims their own age.

Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan RA narrates:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The most excellent among you are
those who learn the Quran and teach it." [Bukhari]
In order for us to be considered amongst the best of people
as described byﷺ, apart from learning to recite and memorize
the Blessed Quran, it is crucial that we try to understand it as well.
Join us in this journey to pursue our way to Jannah by seeking
knowledge through the Tafseer (explanation) of the Holy Quran.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said in the authentic narration that the obligatory prayer in congregation is better than an individual prayer by twenty 27 times.
“The reward of the congregational prayer is twenty seven times greater (than that of the prayer offered by a person alone).” [Sahih Bukhari]
Join us on the weekend as we perform salat ul Fajr in congregation and immerse ourselves in the remembrance of Allah ﷺ
