It's simple. We need each other.

Urgent: Help Ibrahim Center Sustain Our Growth &
Prepare for Ramadan 2025

Dear Beloved Community Members and Assalamu Alaikum,

As we approach the end of another remarkable year, we reflect on the incredible growth and blessings weve experienced at the Ibrahim Islamic Center. Together, weve cultivated a thriving, inclusive community that serves as a beacon of faith, connection, and spiritual growth.

This year has been transformational:

  • Event Attendance: Over 600 attendees combined at major events, compared to 100150 last year. While we originally projected growth to 350400 attendees, the overwhelming response from the community exceeded all expectations.

  • Welcoming New Members: Over 75 new faces since Ramadan, including converts, families, youth, and individuals seeking community.

  • Jummah Growth: Weekly attendance has grown to 7580 from 30-40 earlier this year, with many exploring Islam for the first time.

  • Programs That Inspire:

    • Weekly Spiritual Treasures classes, attended by 3040 individuals, including many youth and young professionals.

    • Little Stewards programs, serving over 45 children with camps and pop-up events.

    • Womens Caravan Gatherings and Mens Circles, fostering stronger families and deeper relationships with Allah.

    • Special guest gatherings and community events that drew over 500 attendees collectively.

Why We Need Your Help Now

While our community has experienced faster-than-anticipated growth, we are facing challenges that require immediate support:

  • Unfulfilled Ramadan Pledges: Some pledges made earlier this year were redirected to international crises, leaving a gap in our operating funds.

  • Ongoing Construction Costs: To bring our center up to code, we are currently undertaking essential upgrades, we installed two new AC units and are currently completing electrical and plumbing work.

  • Increased Operational Demands: Our projected growth of 350400 attendees surged to over 600 across combined events. This includes many individuals exploring Islam for the first time or recommitting to their faith, stretching our resources further than expected.

Our Goal: $30,000 by January 1st

To sustain our momentum and prepare for an expanded Ramadan 2025, we need to raise $30,000. These funds will allow us to:

  • Host 14 inclusive iftars and events for youth, interfaith outreach, and special nights.

  • Continue hosting the weekly Thursday classes and Burdah gatherings while enabling recordings to be shared online, extending their reach and impact to those who cannot attend in person.

  • Cover essential construction costs to ensure a safe, welcoming space for our community.

  • Maintain and expand community programs, sustaining IIC as a hub for spiritual connection and growth.

  • Cover essential construction costs to create a safe and welcoming space for our community. Recent incidents of strangers entering the space have highlighted the need for enhanced security measures, including hiring security for women-only events this past quarter.

  • Expand our community programs to sustain IIC as a vibrant hub for spiritual connection and personal growth, while deepening ties to the rich stories of our community and history.

How You Can Help

Your generosity makes this possible. Heres how your contribution can make a difference:

  • $1,000: Hosts an entire iftar during Ramadan.

  • $100: Supports expanding community programs and outreach.

  • $50: Provides supplies for Little Stewards or tea, oud, and water for a weekly class.

  • $25: Adds a book to our growing library of knowledge.
