UPDATE: Venue for Taraweeh prayers tonight and Jummah (Friday) prayer tomorrow - 5700 W Saginaw Hwy, Lansing, MI 48917

Until further notice, we will be offering Taraweeh and Jummah Prayers at:

Best Furniture: 5700 W Saginaw Hwy, Lansing, MI 48917

Please take note of the following changes and guidelines to help ensure a smooth transition to this makeshift venue:

Isha Prayer time: 8:30 pm. (until Saturday, Mar 8)

Everyone is welcome to attend the prayers with their families.

If you have children accompanying you, kindly make sure they don't venture into the store area.

Entrance: Enter the venue from the West entrance doors of Best Furniture.

Tomorrow (Mar 7), two Jummah Prayer services will be offered at the same times as before at this venue - 12:15 pm to 12:50 pm and 1:45 pm to 2:20 pm.

We sincerely appreciate Best Furniture Outlet for going above and beyond by rearranging their furniture to create space for us to pray. Jazakumullahu Khairan

1. The Islamic Center of East Lansing will remain remain closed for all prayerss and services until further notice.

2. Iftar will be offered in to-go boxes until power is restored.

3. Today's (Mar 6) Community Iftar is postponed.

Contractors and crew are on-site actively working to identify the source of the water leak affecting the Islamic Center's electrical system. They are going to dig a long trench where the conduit carrying the power lines is located.
