Assalamoalaikum,

We are writing to inform you that, as per the bylaws of the Islamic Center of East Brunswick (ICEB), the six Shura Delegates for the 2024-2025 term will be selecting a new President of ICEB for the 2025-2026 term.

The selection process will begin with a list of ICEB members for the year 2024. Potential candidates will be shortlisted and vetted in accordance with the eligibility requirements outlined in the bylaws (available here) as well as additional criteria identified by the Shura Delegates. These criteria include the candidates vision for the future of the community, their ability to address the diverse needs of the community, and their capacity to manage the complex operations of ICEB.
