To follow and love the Prophet ﷺ

Rabi al Awwal Mubarak! The month of his blessed birth arrived on the night of Wednesday, September 4. May you receive this month in the best way.Ameen.
Sent ONLY as a Mercy
For the one who lifted us from the darkness of disbelief and guided us into the light of faith, our Beloved Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, should never be far from our hearts or our lips. With every mention of his blessed name andwith every salah (ritual prayer), we send peace and blessings upon the one who was sent "only as a mercy to the whole world" (Qur'an 21:107).
"Ummati, ummati" - with these words, our Prophet wept to Allah the Exalted. Each tear filled with deep grief and concern for our salvation.
On the Day ofJudgment, when people will surge each other like waves in distress looking to be saved, when no one else can speak for us, he will call out "ummati, ummati" and Allah will grant him his request to intercede on our behalf.
How then can our love for him be anything but profound, deeper than any other?
How deep is yourlove?
Prophet Muhammad is the key to the ultimate test of this life. Through his example, we can rise to the highest levels of faith and draw nearer to our Creator.
"Say, O Prophet, 'If you sincerely love Allah, then follow me; Allah will love you and forgive your sins. For Allah is All-Forgiving, MostMerciful'".
Qur'an 3:31
Until we hold the Prophet dearer than our very selves can we truly taste the sweetness of faith. As he said, "None of you will have faith until he loves me more than his father, his children, and all mankind" (Sahih Bukhari15).
To follow the Prophet is to follow and love all that is goodhonesty, courage, empathy, generosity, wisdom, and so much more.
This Rabi' al-Awwal, the month of his blessed birth, commit to learning his story, living his Sunnah, and increasing in sending salawat uponhim.
