This Weekend: Qari Ibrahim Bakeer at MAPS!

We're excited to announce that this weekend, March 7th - 9th, we will be joined by Qari Ibrahim Bakeer, who will lead Isha, Taraweeh, and Witr at MAPS Redmond.
Shaykh Ibrahim is a world-renowned Qari, mastering both the science (Tajweed & Qiraat) and artistic modes (Maqamat) of Quranic recitation. He memorized the Quran at 7, studied with legendary reciters like Sh. Muhammad El Hebawy and holds an exceptional ijazah with one of the shortest chains of narrations back to the Prophet ﷺ. With a Master’s in Quranic Science from Al-Azhar, Shaykh Ibrahim has served as an Imam in over 15 countries. He is the founder of Maqamat Institute and has had the honour of training imams serving at Masjid Al Haram.
