Jumuah Mubarak
Though the day of Ashura has passed, the door of goodness remains wide open throughout Muharrama month known as the month of Allah. This is not only the beginning of the Islamic year but also a season of reward, renewal, and divine favor, where every blessed day holds deep weight and worth.
The Prophet said:The best of fasting after the month of Ramadan is fasting in the month of Allah, al-Muharram.[Sahih Muslim 1163]
To fasteven just a single dayis no small deed. The Prophet said,
Fasting is a shield[Sunan Ibn Majah1639]
A shield from sin, from the Fire, and from the grip of the lower self. Fasting in these blessed days is not only rewardableit is transformative. It softens the hearts edges, disciplines the souls yearnings, and draws the servant ever closer to the Most Merciful.
Though much of the world moves on unaware, the believermarks these days with reverence. In an age consumed by distraction and rush, the one who pauses to worship, reflect, and refraineven in small waysis held dear by the Most Merciful.
And in this sacred state of fasting, a divine promise is given:
Three supplications are never turned back: the supplicationof a parent, the supplication of a traveler, andthe supplication of a fasting person until he breaks his fast**.**
