When a visitor at one of our Open Mosque Days asked, “Does Jihad mean violence against non-Muslims?” it was clear they had carried years of misconceptions about Islam.
Through thoughtful dialogue, their fear turned into understanding. By day's end, they remarked, “I didn’t know Islam promotes striving for personal betterment and community peace. This changes everything.”
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) reminded us, “Whoever guides someone to goodness will have a reward like the one who does it.”
