Have you remembered Him today?
Jumuah Mubarak to our dear brothers and sisters.
On this blessed Jumuah, let us reflect on the unmatched virtues of dhikr, the remembrance of Allah. Like rain reviving the barren earth, dhikr nourishes the soul, purifies the heart, and fills the believer with serenity that the world cannot offer.
Allah Himselfpromises: So remember Me; I will remember you.
Quran 2:152
Whatgreater honor can we hope for than to be remembered by the Lord of all that exists? Each utterance of SubhanAllah, each whisper of Alhamdulillah, reaches the heavens and draws us nearer to His infinite mercy.
The Prophet said: The people of Paradise will not regret anything except for not havingdone more dhikr of Allah during their lives. (Sunan Ibn Majah 3793). Imagine standing at the gates of Jannah, wishing for just one more moment to say Allahu Akbar, one more breath to glorify the Almighty.
It is through dhikr that the soul transcends the confines of this world, breathing life into the very essence of our being:
The example of the one who remembers his Lord and the one who doesnot is like that of the living and the dead.
Sahih Bukhari 6407
Imam Al-Ghazali beautifully explained that the heart is like a polished mirror, dulled by heedlessness and sin, but cleansed andilluminated through dhikr. Every remembrance of Allah is a stroke that restores clarity, allowing the heart to reflect the light of divine presence.
Let your tongue flow with His remembrance today. Start with SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi and feel your heart ascend.
