Reminder: Please carpool for Jummah and Taraweeh
Asalamualaikum,
Alhamdulillah, tonight marks the two-week milestone of this blessed month. We have been graced by the beautiful recitations of our Taraweeh leaders, Imam Dahee and Hafiz Murtaza, and the inspiring daily Khatirahs with Imam Herbert.
Our programs have witnessed record attendance. The Youth Qiyam night welcomed over 50 students, while the Minds Brewed class engaged over 200 participants. Our Community Iftars have served over 400 guests, a testament to the dedication of the dozens of volunteers who have been tirelessly preparing for months or signing up weeks in advance.
Last night, we introduced a Chai Cart, now stationed in the main hallway daily for the remainder of Ramadan, serving specialty chai. This adds to our existing offerings, including the Coffee Shop in Salsabeel, the Youth Cart, and occasional Food Trucks available on select days throughout the week.
Our community's consistent and enthusiastic participation has been remarkable, with prayer spaces often filled to capacity, leading us to utilize the Banquet Halls. In response to this growth and valuable feedback, we are implementing immediate changes to better accommodate the increasing attendance, especially as we approach the final ten nights of Ramadan:
If you are feeling unwell or exhibiting symptoms, we kindly ask that you stay home to ensure the safety of all attendees.
Please avoid bringing strollers to Jummah, Community Iftars, or Taraweeh to help ease congestion and enhance movement within the prayer spaces.
We are grateful for your understanding and cooperation as we strive to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for all. May Allah accept our efforts and grant us the blessings of this holy month. Ameen.
