🤲The Best Day of the Year - The Day of Arafah | 9th of Dhul Hijjah 1446 AH, Thursday 06/05/2025🌙
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Dear Community Members,
The Day of Arafah is TOMORROW In shà Allah. This is the day the Prophet ﷺ said:
-
"There is no day when Allah sets free more servants from Hell than the Day of Arafah" Muslim.
-
"Fast the Day of Arafah, for indeed I anticipate that Allah will forgive (the sins) of the year after it, and the year before it" Tirmidhi
Below is a Suggested program for the day of Arafah:
1. Go to bed early tonight so you can wake up for Qiyam.
2. Get up at least an hour before Fajr and pray a few Raka'as slowly, making plenty of Dua'a in sujood.
3. Have your Suhoor (remember, you are fasting today) and leave two minutes before Fajr to make Istighfar.
4. On your way to the masjid, keep your tongue busy with the remembrance of Allah. Intend to stay until sunrise to earn the reward of Hajj and Umrah.
5. Throughout the day, make lots of dua'a (don’t forget Muslims everywhere). The following is the best dua'a in the day of Arafa:
لا إلَه إلَّا اللهُ وحدَه لا شَريكَ له، له المُلكُ وله الحمدُ، وهو على كلِّ شيءٍ قديرٌ
La ilah ill` Allah, wahdahu la sharika lahu Lahul mulk walahul hamd, wahua `ala kulli shayin qadeer
6. Read the Quran while reflecting on each verse.
7. Before Maghreb is one of the best times for dua'a to be accepted. Ask Allah to cleanse your heart of all ailments and to save you from the hellfire.
