Nasheed Competition:
Guidelines:
- Islamic Values: Nasheeds must have lyrics that reflect Islamic values such as faith, morality, and unity, or be in praise of Prophet Muhammad (SAWS).
- Instrumentation: No musical instruments are permitted.
- Languages: Lyrics can be in Urdu, English, or Arabic.
- Topic: Avoid any controversial or divisive topics in the lyrics.
Rules:
- Time Limit: Each performance must be between 1 and 3 minutes.
- Memorization: Nasheed should be memorized
Judging Criteria:
- Lyrics: Evaluation based on the content and adherence to Islamic values.
- Vocal Quality: Assessment of clarity, pitch, and control.
- Time Adherence: Compliance with the specified time limit for performance.
Dress Code:
- Attire: Must be modest and in accordance with Islamic guidelines.
Timings and Logistics:
- Start Time: 5:00 PM
- Competition Order:
- 13+ age group
- 11–13 age group
- 8–10 age group
- 5–7 age group
- Asr Prayer Break: There will be a break for Asr prayer.
- Resume: The program will continue after Asr and will run until the event concludes.
Location:
- Boys: Men's prayer area.
- Girls: Sisters' prayer area.
