Dear brothers and sisters,
May Allah accept your fasting and good deeds this blessed month of Ramadan. You may have noted that we have launched our Masjid Expansion Fundraiser, an endeavor that aims to strengthen our community and provide a more inclusive and comfortable space for all. As our community grows, it is crucial to ensure that our beloved masjid can accommodate the increasing needs and serve as a center for spiritual growth and community development.
To continue fulfilling its role effectively, we have initiated the urgent need for Phase I expansion. This project will cost us $1.6M and will allow us to address the challenges we currently face, such as inadequate drainage in our unpaved extended parking areas.
With the expansion, we envision a masjid that caters to the diverse needs of our community. The key features of the Phase I project include:
- Expanded Parking Area: Implement proper drainage underground for water retention and then pave the lots to alleviate the parking issues faced by our community; this will enhance our parking facilities to accommodate the growing number of attendees.
- Include perimeter fences and beautiful landscaping.
- Create a professional basketball court for our youth
- Prepare the site for future plans to expand the masjid footprint which would include a multipurpose state-of-the-art facility.
