Dear Beloved Community Member,
This Ramadan, we embark on a journey over the next yearone that takes us deeper into our Islam, community, and service. At Ibrahim Islamic Center (IIC), we have spent years building a vessel of Love & Service, Excellence, and Sacred Companionshipa ship that carries us toward a stronger, more connected ummah.
And what a journey it has been! Since last Ramadan, we have experienced tremendous growth, deepened our community bonds, and expanded our programming in ways we never imagined:
A Year of Growth & Transformation
Jumma Growth Our weekly Friday prayers continue to flourish, with 70-80 attendees regularly joining us. Many new visitors, including those interested in Islam, have found a welcoming space at IIC.
Weekly Thursday Spiritual Treasures Gathering Led by Munshid Omar & Shaykh Khalis, this class brings together 20-40 students each week, with a growing number of young attendees.
Little Stewards Program Serving over 5****0 children, weve hosted two week-long camps and five special pop-up events since Ramadan.
Special Guest Gatherings Hosting eight esteemed guests, bringing together over 500 members in enriching spiritual experiences.
Womens Caravan & Menaissance Gatherings Led by Shaykh Khalis, fostering stronger families and deeper spiritual connections.
First-Ever Family Retreat In 2024, we successfully hosted our first retreat in the Texas Hill Country, bringing families together for reflection, renewal, and sacred companionship.
Dewam Seminary Launched With the launch of our seminary, we are providing deeper Islamic education, mentorship, and spiritual training for those seeking to immerse themselves in sacred knowledge.
Community Events Highlights include 3rd Ward Tours and Turntable Tunes, with even more meaningful programs in the pipeline.
Sailing Together Deeper into the Ocean
Our Goal: Raise $350,000 to sustain and expand IIC in 2025.
Why Now? The tides are shifting, and the need to anchor our community has never been greater.
This Ramadan, we are calling for 90% participation from our communitynot just a few generous donors, but each and every one of us, giving whatever we can. Whether it's a large gift or a small one, every single contribution moves us forward. Its not about the amountits about all of us stepping up together.
