Alhamdulillah, our recent Living Islam gathering this past Saturday was a rich, honest, and enlightening conversation about what it means to practice Islam in real lifewith all its joys, struggles, and questions.

One of the most heartfelt parts of the evening came during the discussion on strengthening Iman andbuilding consistent worship (starting at 00:11:00).

We reflected on thefollowing hadith:

The Prophet () was asked, "What deeds are loved most by Allah?" He said, "The most regular constant deeds even though they may be few." He added, 'Don't take upon yourselves, except the deeds which are within your ability."
Sahih Bukhari

Just like you wouldnt walk into the gym and lift the heaviest weight on your first day, your worship grows over time. You start with whats manageable and gradually build spiritual strength, sincerity, and depth.

In a world that pushes all-or-nothing thinking, this reminder was a breath of fresh air. You dont have to do it all, all at once. But you_do_ have to begin, and keep going.
