MCA 3.0 Annual Dinner Speaker Reveal:
Dr. Yasir Qadhi!
Were honored to welcome Dr. Yasir Qadhi as a featured speaker at the MCA 3.0 Annual Fundraising Dinner on Friday, September 6th! This special evening will reflect on over 40 years of MCAs service to the communityand raise funds to support the MCA 3.0 campus expansion project, a bold investment in our future generations.
Mark your calendars and stay tuned for more exciting speaker reveals next week inshaAllah!
Masjid Al-Noor: Being Better Muslim Neighbors
We have received complaints by neighbors about excessive noise, people blocking their driveways, and littering. We must correct this immediately. Moving forward, there will be no outdoor overflow parking and towing will be enforced.
Additionally, children cannot play outside after Maghrib. Please help us to keep the peace in the neighborhood.
1) Park thoughtfully: Please avoid blocking driveways or parking for extended periods in residential areas. Towing of those parked illegally will be enforced including during Jummah, even if you are only parked for a few minutes.
2) Keep noise down: Be especially considerate of our neighbors, particularly after Maghrib pryaer, by minimizing loud conversations, car door slamming, alarms, and children being out after Maghrib.
3) Drive safely: Observe speed limits and all traffic laws, especially during Friday prayers when congestion is higher.
4) Help keep our neighborhood clean: Please dispose of all trash properly and do not smoke - maintain a tidy environment for everyone.
5) Avoid Overcrowding - Our community cannot fit in Masjid Al-Noor. Please utilize the main MCA campus. With a little extra time to walk--and plenty of overflow spaces--you will be able to find a comfortable way to join the congregation, inshallah.
IF WE DO NOT ADHERE TO THESE RULES, WE FACE THE POSSIBILITY OF THIS FACILITY BEING SHUT DOWN.
NO PARKING ZONES - TOWING ENFORCED
Please note that certain businesses do not allow MCA parking. We are highlighting here specifically complaints from these businesses (in red) that there are not only parking but double-parking.
The business complexes across Door 5 of MCA, on the corner of Scott Blvd and Space Park Drive, are not a parking area for MCA members.
These business lots are off limits and you will get towed if you park there at your expense.
Between the authorized parking lots and legal street parking, there is enough space for attendees inshallah, please just factor in up to ten minutes to park and walk. You may drop off passengers and go find parking if needed as well.
