Rabi Al-Awwal
According to the Islamic calendar, we are in the month of Rabi al-Awwal, which began on September 4th. This blessed month is significant because it marks the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). During this time, it is important to reflect on how our beloved Prophet transformed the course of humanity. The Sunnah of the Prophet contains many beautiful and life-changing teachings that we should strive to follow throughout the year. The Messenger of Allah (SWT) was born in Makkah in 570 C.E. In the Quran, he is described as a mercy to the world. It says:
وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَـٰكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةًۭ لِّلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
"We have sent you ˹O Prophet˺ only as a mercy for the whole world." (21:107)
It is also the month in which the Prophet (PBUH) passed away. Reflecting on the importance of the Prophet (PBUH) and his role throughout Islamic history is essential for Muslims. Allah (SWT) sent him to guide humanity, and he was the best of creation. He accomplished many significant things, such as improving societal structures that oppressed women and the poor. He worked hard to spread the message of Islam and changed the lives of countless people. Today, we should remember him and the valuable lessons we can learn from his life.

Dua for guidance:
Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and granted us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.
