Join us Friday evening for a lecture with Ustadh Feraidoon Mojadedi on Rumi
Join us Friday, September 13, with Sidi Feraidoon Mojadedi as he covers the life of Rumi in his lecture, Rumi & Divine Love.
One of the most difficult words to define is love. Rumi himself acknowledges this challenge, saying, No matter how much I write or speak about love, when I come face to face with it, I am left embarrassed, for I have not done it justice.
Ustadh Feraidoon Mojadedi is a respected community leader, lecturer, and entrepreneur based in the Bay Area, California. Born in Herat, Afghanistan, he emigrated to the United States with his family in 1985 during the Russian invasion of Afghanistan. Raised in a household that deeply cherished poetry, he began memorizing poems by Rumi and other great poets at the age of five. This early love for poetry blossomed into a lifelong passion and calling, leading him to teach regular classes on Rumi across California, the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia, Malaysia, Germany, and even in Konya, Turkey, where Mawlana Rumi is laid to rest.
