From an art workshop and a community social to Qurtuba Institute's graduation and a powerful film screening, today is the perfect day to come together and connect with our vibrant community.

Marbling Workshop

Join us at Qahwa as we dive into the world of Ebru during this special workshop led by Salwa Medani**!**

Ebru is the traditional Turkish art of water marbling and is used to creating colorful patterns by sprinkling pigments onto a pan of oily water and then transferring the patterns to paper.

The event starts promptly at 11am and ends at 1pm.  It is open to adults ages 18+.  Please make sure you are on time.

Registration is mandatory and tickets cover the cost of materials.

36 Seconds: Portrait of a Hate Crime

Join us at Qahwa for a special screening of 36 Seconds: Portrait of a Hate Crime followed by Q&A panel with the films director Tarek Albaba, Professor of Psychiatry Dr. Rania Awaad, and Editorial Producer for Time Magazine Juwayriah Wright. Tickets will be required for admission.

Please note that due to the violent and sensitive content displayed in the film, admission will not be granted for attendees below the age of 14.
