Deadline to Apply for Muslim Youth Leadership Program: May 5
Become a change maker alongside fellow Muslim high school students across California. Join CAIR California's Muslim Youth Leadership Program (MYLP)an intensive four-day leadership retreat in Sacramento from Thursday, July 25, to Sunday, July 28.
At MYLP, you will:
- Dive into advocacy, debate, law, media, and public-policy creation through workshops and even a mock legislative session on the California Senate floor!
- Connect with inspiring activists, lawmakers, and Muslim youth leaders.
- Develop your skills, network, and gain firsthand experience in government.
Apply by May 5 to secure one of the limited spots.
Spend Your Summer with CAIR-SFBA
Are you interested in gaining hands-on experience in civic engagement, communications, event planning/outreach, law, operations, or youth development? Then apply for our Summer Internship program.
Qualifications:
- College students pursuing a bachelors degree or an advanced degree or recent graduates (18 and older)
- Passion and familiarity with CAIR's work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
