SALAM RAMADAN

This past Saturday, we had the privilege of hosting our annual Salam Ramadan event at FVAMC, where we warmly welcomed non-Muslim friends, neighbors, and community members to learn about the significance of Ramadan. The evening featured an insightful talk by Br. Ahmed Abdelmajeed on the Five Pillars of Islam and the importance of Ramadan, including its history, guidelines for fasting, and its spiritual significance.

After an engaging Q&A session, guests enjoyed a delicious meal of chicken, tabbouleh, and hummus, providing an opportunity for deeper connections. The event was attended by a diverse group of teachers, local organizations, and community members, with many new relationships formed and old ones rekindled.

A special thanks to the youth and FVAMC volunteers for their incredible teamwork in ensuring the event ran smoothly.

We look forward to hosting even more guests next year and continuing to promote learning, dialogue, and community unity.

RAMADAN FUNDRAISING IFTAR!

It's that time of year again! We are thrilled to announce our Annual Ramadan Fundraising Iftar!  

As our community continues to grow, so does our commitment to making a positive impact. The Fundraising Iftar is an evening dedicated to supporting the ongoing work and developments within our community and center. 

Alhamdulillah, we have been blessed with a great collaboration with Avon High School to host our annual Ramadan Fundraising Iftar again!

This event is a wonderful cooperative effort, not only with the high school but also with the MSA of Avon High. Each event held at the school has been seamless, thanks to the dedication and support of the young members from the school and our FVAMC community.
