[Youth] Hifdh Summer Camp 2024

June 24th to July 18th

Join us for a summer of learning, growth, and fun.

In collaboration with Al-Misbaah, we are happy to announce an expanded summer camp schedule, now extending until 3 PM, with more enriching activities for our students!

Students will select one track for the camp and aim to memorize an entire Juz/Surah or a substantial portion, based on their personal abilities and progress.

In addition to choosing a Quran memorization track students will engage in Islamic Studies, STEM Cell Robotics, and Physical Education (PE) throughout the camp, enhancing both their spiritual and academic abilities.

Special Field Trip: Students will enjoy a celebratory field trippart of the camp experience at no extra cost.

The Blessed 10 Days of Dhul-Hijja

During the 10 days of Dhul-Hijja, Allah pours His mercy upon his creation. For the Muslims who are not performing Hajj, it takes more effort to take advantage of the many blessings Allah has promised and to honor these days in which deeds are multiplied numerous times.

Ibn Abbas reported Gods Messenger as saying, There are no days in which a good deed is more pleasing to God than these ten days. When asked whether even jihad in Gods path was as pleasing, he replied, Not even jihad in Gods path, except when a man goes out in person with his property and loses both life and property. ~ Bukhari

Let's embrace the spirit of these blessed days and aim to perform as many good deeds as possible:

Fast: Especially on the 9th of Dhul-Hijjah, the Day of 'Arafah, which expiates the sins of the past and the coming year. It's also sunnah to fast the first 8 days.
Give in Charity: The value of good deeds is magnified during these days, making charity especially meritorious.
Increase Dhikr: Recite plenty of Tahleel (La ilaha illallah), Takbeer (Allahu Akbar), and Tahmeed (Alhamdulillah) as recommended by the Prophet (peace be upon him).
Pray More: Take this time to focus on perfecting your obligatory prayers, adding sunnah prayers, or praying Qiyam during the night.

Let's strengthen our souls and make the most out of these momentous days!
