Sadaqah for Bangladesh Flood Relief (Zakat eligible)

Dear community,
**Allen Masjid is collaborating with Forum86 for Bangladesh Flood Relief Effort. 

Forum 86 USA is a US Based non-profit organization managed by the graduates of BUET residing in the USA. Architects of this wonderful organization are many from among our community members from the DFW area.
 

• 1.24 million people have been forced to evacuate their homes. More than 10 million are directly impacted
• More than 10 million are directly impacted
• Over 502,501 people have been displaced. 
• Most severely affected districts include Noakhali, Comilla, Laxmipur, Feni, Chittagong, Moulvibazar

 

Forum86 is collecting funds to help victims of recent flood in Bangladesh.

Few other things ongoing/are in the plan:

1. over $15k worth of food already been distributed as emergency
2. More support includes food, medicine etc, are being sent to Feni, Noakhali, Sylhet and Chittagong for this relief. Our volunteers are still working relentlessly to reach most remote areas of Feni and Noakhali
3. Long term rehabilitation plan includes housing support, food support etc.
