The Sunday Circle
Were excited to continue The Sunday Circle at Masjid As-Siddiq with a powerful and timely new series titled Sacred Desires: Islam, Sexuality, and Shame. This series seeks to unpack a topic often misunderstood and rarely discussed, offering guidance grounded in the Maqasid (objectives) of Islamic law.
Led by Shaykh Raihaan Habibulla, Assistant Imam of Masjid As-Siddiq, this series will explore how Islam teaches us to view sexuality as a divine trust, how to navigate shame in a spiritually constructive way, and how to build a healthy, God-conscious relationship with our desires.
The First Session:
We kick off this new journey on Sunday, May 11th, in person after Salaat-ul-Maghrib.
