With the blessed month of Dhul Hijjah starting soon, we wanted to honor the tradition of providing Udhiyah/Qurbani to those in need in addition to other opportunities to assist others through three different campaigns that we are coordinating inshallah.
GAZA EMERGENCY: PROVIDE UDHIYA/QURBANI AND AID TO EVACUATED ORPHANS AND FAMILIES IN GAZA
Link: Launchgood.com/Udhiyah4GazaOrphans
We have all seen the devastation that Gaza has endured, leaving hundreds of thousands displaced and without any shelter. This Dhul Hijjah, we'll be providing udhiyah/qurbani meat to orphans from Gaza evacuated to Egypt inshallah. We also will be providing much-needed flour and hygiene products that are remaining within Gaza and distributing to those in need.
UDHIYAH/QURBANI & EMERGENCY RELIEF FOR SUDAN ORPHANS AND FAMILIES
Link: Launchgood.com/Udhiyah4SudanOrphans
Sudan is facing an urgent humanitarian crisis, yet it often goes unnoticed. 14 million children urgently need assistance, with 3.7 million acutely malnourished. Over 70-80% of hospitals have ceased operations, leaving millions without access to healthcare. 4 million are displaced, and 19 million children are out of school. We will be providing Udhiyah/Qurbani meat, water, food, women's hygiene products, and other critical aid to orphans, malnourished children, and families in need, while also supporting mobile clinics to treat sickness and malnutrition.
EID TOY DRIVE FOR HOSPITALIZED CHILDREN
Link: https://www.khairgiver.com/eidtoydrive2025
With Eid around the corner, the Islamic Center at NYU is excited to partner with Khairgiver on it's 10th annual Eid Toy Drive this year to bring toys to pediatric patients. In addition to gift lists for the usual 25 children's hospitals around the country that participate, this year we again have two very special gift lists for pediatric patients from Palestine that have been transferred to the U.S. for treatment by HEAL Palestine, and pediatric patients at Elbuluk Children's Hospital in Sudan through the Sudanese American Physicians' Association. Since 2015, these drives have distributed 15,000 toys and brought smiles and joy to as many children - let's do our part to show love to that many more this Eid inshallah.
